Survival in Nature Course Held at Bartın University

Bartın University Career Planning Application and Research Center continues to organize various courses for students and alumni. In this context, a special course on forestry and survival in nature was held face-to-face on Wednesday, November 27, 2024.

The course was conducted by Prof. Dr. Ali Durkaya, a faculty member at Bartın University. An expert in his field, Prof. Dr. Durkaya provided participants with both theoretical and practical knowledge on survival techniques, basic forestry skills, navigation methods, and coping with challenges in nature.

During the course, practical demonstrations of survival techniques were given, allowing participants to experience these methods firsthand. Topics such as finding safe water sources in nature, building shelters, first aid, and utilizing natural resources attracted significant interest.

At the end of the event, participants expressed their gratitude to the Career Planning Center, stating that such courses greatly contribute to their professional and personal development. Bartın University was praised for its efforts to enhance the competencies of students and alumni through such initiatives.

The Survival in Nature course is expected to be repeated in the future with a larger number of participants.
