Course File Preparation Guide

1. The preparation of course files for all compulsory and elective courses in the undergraduate curriculum of the Forestry Engineering Department will begin in the Spring semester of the 2017-2018 academic year.

2. Documents containing the course file should preferably be archived using blue-colored plastic folders with wire bindings. Transparent folders (shirt folders) will not be used. The course name, course code, and academic year and semester should be written in the description section on the plastic folders with wire bindings.

3. Course files will be prepared in the format sent in the appendix and separately for each semester as specified above. The course files prepared for the semesters mentioned above will be placed in the file folder created for each course by the Department Secretariat.

4. The final submission date for course file folders is one week following the final announcement date of make-up exam results. Each faculty member will submit the course file prepared for each course to the Department Secretariat.

5. The points mentioned here also apply to faculty members from other departments who teach courses in the Forestry Engineering Department.

6. The preparation of course files for courses offered by external instructors (from other universities, faculties, etc.) will be organized by the department responsible for the relevant course. Therefore, instructors from other institutions who are teaching at our department need to be informed, and the Department Head will also inform these instructors via email.

7. Course files will be archived in a room designated by our Department and stored for submission to the MÜDEK Team. Information and documents related to course files will not be returned. Therefore, photocopies of the required documents must be included in the file. Only documents related to assignments, presentations, practical work, etc., conducted within the scope of the course, will be filed in the cabinets in the office allocated by our Department Head.
